Cosmic Sex is an Art-House Bengali movie, written and directed by Amitabh Chakraborty and produced by Putul Mahmood. The story of a young man Kripa who is running away from a night of sex and violence when he meets a woman ascetic, a Sadhavi, who takes him on a journey of discovering the self through sexual practice. The inward journey of a young man as he travels from the gross to the sublime through sex. The film deals with Dehotathva (worshipping through one's own body) which uses sexual energy for spiritual awakening. The film stars Rii Sen who won the best actress award at Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema for her role.
